Father, It has been a long day and so much has been racing through my heart and my mind. There were times today that worry and anxiety seem to be more than I couyld handle, and yet just knowing You were never far kept my heart warm.  So often I have turned my eyes away from you only to see the waves, to I listen to the howl of the wind, and feel the cold smothering water surrounding me and I know I cannot do it alone. I'm sinking. But with a hand and reassuring voice you called me to stand and follow. You would think that by now I would learn, but it seems it is a lesson I to need to learn each and every day. "Come, Follow Me!" I pray to you Jesus because I can feel you move in my life, I trust your heart more than my own and I believe that without your wisdom and vision, I'm bound to go in circles. And so I trust to Your love and care all those who grieve today for love that was lost, for those facing medical procedures and those dealing with demons of addiction and fear. Grant them peace. Help me face my own giants and with the sling and stones of your Word and your Spirit so that in time I might become more than a conqueror. I praise you for the renewed friendships from years past that remind me of the mystery and wonder of life. I thank you for the love that continues to bless my life and for the talents and ability to somehow be a blessing to others and I pray for those who still despise or reject me. Watch over my family, Father, for they are the most precious of gift I have been given and thank you for their light and joy in my life. Especially Bless Boo-Boo! Amen.
