CS Lewis is without a doubt my favorite writer. Notice I did not say my favorite Christian writer as if that made him a lesser author. CS Lewis' keen mind and use of allegory and clarity of storytelling revealed so much about the nature of God, myself and the world I live in that I scarce would have discover much of it on my own in 10 lifetimes. I owe so much of my faith journey to him for allowing me to see the world through his eyes and see the Kingdom of God for myself.
From the "The Case for Christianity"

- "Badness is only spoiled goodness."
- "God has landed on this enemy-occupied world in human form...The perfect surrender and humiliation was undergone by Christ: perfect because He was God, surrender and humiliation because He was man."
