Here's a topic sure to wet your theological appetite:
How can you say there is only One way to God?
What about other religions?
Objections: People say that since there are so many ways to find God, Christianity is only one among many valid options. The other religions of the world have millions of adherents, producing much wisdom, character and happiness, so Christians should not claim to have the best faith or the only true faith.
How would you respond?

Yes, most assuredly, “Christians must not only claim but declare that their faith is both the BEST and the ONLY true faith.”
God, in numerous places throughout His Holy Word, commands Christians to do so. Consider Matthew 28: 19 “…therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
Consider the historocity of the Bible. When Jesus says in John 14: 6, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life,” He is! Christianity is the “one true faith.”
Consider the characteristics and definitions of the various world religions and sects. Consider the television commercial “Got milk?” Ask a similar question about each and all of those religions and sects: “Got Jesus?” Not one does; not even Judaism claims or declares Jesus as the Christ or Messiah.
Consider the book of John in the Bible. Better yet, read the book of John in the Bible. Chapter 1: 1-5, 10-12, 18: “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him; and without Him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in Him was life, and the life was the light of all people. He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him; yet the world did not know Him. He came to what was His own, and His own people did not accept him. But to all who received Him, who believed in His name, He gave power to become the children of God. No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, Who is close to the Father’s heart, Who has made Him known.”
By reiterating, Jesus is “the Way, the Truth, and the Life” and “No one has ever seen God; it is God the only Son Who has made [God] known.” Aside from the fact that so many of the world religions ignore God’s gift of grace and emphasize the “self” as the determiner of what to believe as well as the determiner of whether that “self” will go on the Paradise or heaven or accomplish narvana or eradicate karma, none include Jesus; thus none can lead to God because none profess faith in God Himself, the Creator of all things, Who came to earth in the incarnate form of His completely divine AND human Son.
“Other religions have millions of adherents.” That’s not hard to believe and/or understand when you consider the fact that man wishes to create and control everything, so he makes his own religions and follow them; for then he is the creator and not the follower — “self”is now controlling his or her surroundings and life. Man is flawed and chooses, in prideful arrogance, to create and control his own truth rather than following “the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”
Unfortunately and it is quite evident in the number of diverse religions as John said, “…the world [does] not know Him.” And unfortunately, many Christians do not know Him well enough to declare and defend Him in order to “make disciples of all nations.”
Hopeless? Sounds like it, but it is not. Christians can, should, and must defend and proclaim their faith as “the best and only true faith”; but first they discover the one true God by reading and following His Word which “in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.”
