What happens when Sunday People live in a Monday Morning World?     Have you ever noticed that the energy and enthusiasm you have on Sunday fades when you finally come to Monday Morning? Have you ever witnessed good church going people act like Attila the Hun at a restaurant, grocery store, or on the highway? Have YOU ever made promises to God, to yourself or to your family and spouse that got put on the shelf because of a pressing schedule, demands of 'life', or because we were just too tired? Have you felt like you were stuck in Good Friday with a deep longing to experience the confidence, courage and optimism of Easter exuberance? I think what we're talking about here is RELEVANCE.    Relevance means that the God's message still speaks to our on Monday Morning challenges. Scripture still answers our deepest questions about life, meaning and purpose, it comforts those grieving, fearful or lonely, and it challenges the our indifference, ignorance and vision.       I believe one of the major reasons for the decline of faith in America is because of our lack of connecting our values on Sunday to our life on Monday. Through these message, I hope to share some key way to follow through on what God is saying to you Sunday so you can practice, learn and mature through the week.

This week we're talking about an American epidemic

Burnout!

Burnout happens when life’s energy, passion and interest are consumed by stress, criticism, or motion without meaning. Symptoms of Burnout             We depreciate our value (depression)             We take on too much blame (guilt)             We exaggerate our problems (isolation)             We lose our dream (check out) If this sounds at all like you (or someone you know) then listen in, know that prophets and saints before you have struggled with depression and Burnout. How did God help Elijah find healing and new life? Will it work for you? Is there a connection between what you believe (faith) and what you do (living)?
